On weekends famous Osaka DJs spin tunes upstairs in the Cafe and downstairs in Wormwood, the underground VIP event lounge. There are often local and international live bands performing a range of genre from jazz, ethnic, to funk.

Cafe Absinthe has been a supporter of the local art scene for many years and is a popular exhibition space for foreign and Japanese artists. Every month a different artist is invited to displays their work in the cafe.
